Co-Production & Incentives

Live your film journey.
Develop it.
Produce it.

Grimm Pictures, with Atlantic Way, provides a transatlantic pathway to co-production — connecting US and UK/Irish production through development, packaging, and access to government incentive structures.

Way

The Path. The Access.
The Advantage.

"Atlantic Way develops with Grimm Pictures. Together they set a film up properly — packaged, structured, and ready to qualify for co-production."

Atlantic Way is a US-based development and packaging company. It develops projects together with Grimm Pictures and is the pathway through which films are properly structured and packaged for co-production — providing bridge development loans for pre-production where needed, and services and access to the Grimm producer. Atlantic Way is not a finance company.

Grimm Pictures itself is a pathway to finance, not a financier. Atlantic Way selectively develops — and may fund development on — projects that meet its own criteria; Grimm Pictures does not finance, guarantee, or underwrite production budgets directly. Our role is to structure the incentive pathway and support introductions to financiers and sales agents, covered by a production management fee agreed prior to production.

Access Point 1

Bankable Talent

Recognised cast and representatives improve sales estimates, buyer confidence, presale potential, and distributor conversations — creating the contracts that underpin production finance.

Access Point 2

Government Incentives

UK/Ireland structures create receivable-backed production value after certification, qualifying spend, audit, and lender review. Incentive access is a greenlight condition — not a speculation.

Access Point 3

Industry Relationships

Studio, sales, production, casting, and post/VFX relationships help convert developed IP into financeable packages — turning access into formal, bankable commitments.

Production Structure

US Development & Packaging

Atlantic Way

US-based development and packaging company. Atlantic Way develops with Grimm Pictures and is the pathway through which films are properly set up and packaged for co-production.

Eligible Producer

Grimm Pictures

UK/Ireland production company. Positioned for Section 481, IFTC, and AVEC (including post-production expenditure) across UK & Northern Ireland and Irish pathways.

Project Execution

SPV / DAC

Project-specific entity for production banking, incentive compliance, audit trail, and recoupment waterfall.

Connecting US development with government-backed incentive markets. The premise is simple: get the production right first, and let the incentive structure do its work.

Built on story.
Driven by audience.

Grimm Pictures is building a slate of commercially focused, audience-driven films — each one designed to grow the company's profile, expand its market reach, and deliver measurable returns. The trajectory is intentional: every film we make is a foundation for the next.

Compelling stories. Audience connection. Strategic distribution. Sustainable growth. These are not aspirations — they are the operating principles behind every project we greenlight.

Grimm Pictures Box Office Growth Projection

Government-Backed Incentive Frameworks

Productions are structured to qualify across multiple government incentive programmes — UK, Ireland, and the United States. These frameworks materially reduce the net cost of production, subject to project-specific eligibility and certification.

Structured Production Planning

Productions are planned alongside co-production arrangements and established industry partners, with budgets and schedules built to meet certification and delivery requirements from the outset.

Global Distribution Network

Sales and distribution are managed by professional sales teams across international territories. Revenue pathways and territory strategies are built into the structure from the outset, aligned with the production's genre and market positioning.

Two pathways.
One strict standard.
